In week 1 you will learn how to create trust and psychological safety to invite others to open up in your presence.

Deepen Active Listening

Week 2 focuses on deepening your listening skills to understand the different levels of listening, practice reframing how you listen and begin to experiment with talking less.

Powerful Questions for Change

This week you will learn how to ask more powerful questions that invite changes in perspective, explore how others think, effectively challenge their beliefs and help them reframe issues towards actions.

Supporting Growth & Development

Week 4 helps you understand how to evoke awareness to support growth and development, how to handle limiting beliefs that arise and the importance of accountability.

Develop a Coaching Presence

The final week you will begin to cultivate a coaching presence that is open, flexible and confident in order to show up more fully for those around you.

Alex Barilec is a Life and Leadership Coach who’s on a mission to help new people managers improve their ability to connect, communicate and coach their teams. He is Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and has coached leaders to the next level in their careers across diverse industries from education and technology to health and government for the past 5 years. In his coaching practice he offers 1:1 coaching, group training on developing coaching skills and he leads workshops to help teams improve wellbeing in the workplace.
